MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped millions of men and women become more confident in front of an audience. Our network of clubs and their learn-by-doing program are sure to help you become a better speaker and leader.

Don’t worry! Everyone in a Toastmasters club was once at the level you are now. The environment is friendly and supportive, and the self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. And you’ll love the applause!

You are more than welcome to come and visit us as many times as you wish before you decide to join. When you decide to join our Toastmasters Club, contact the VP of Membership either before or after one of our meetings. He/she will help you fill out an application form and sign you up.

The cost to join the Arthur Storer Toastmasters Club is $63 for 6 months. This membership fee includes membership into Toastmasters International, your New Members packet, and a year's subscription to Toastmaster magazine. Renewal memberships are $36 for 6 month periods.

Shortly after you sign up, you will receive a new membership kit in the mail. It will include your Communication and Leadership Program manual, which contains guidelines for your first 10 speeches. Everything is laid out step by step, and easy to follow. Even guidelines for the various meeting roles are detailed in the manual.

After you become a member, you will be invited to join our website's members only area. There you can sign up for meeting roles, freely communicate with other members, offer speech feedback, monitor your progress, and let others know a bit more about you.

You can also request to have a mentor, a more experienced Toastmaster who will be happy to guide you through the speech assignments and give you encouragement.
